Leisure & Culture Dundee is a Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation (SCIO) SC042421. It was established by Dundee City Council in July 2011 to deliver leisure, sports, library, information and cultural services for the city.
Based in Caird Hall you will work 37 hours per week.
This is a fixed term post for a period of 1 year.
The Modern Apprentice Scheme is focused to target high youth unemployment in the Dundee Area and the funding for training is only available for candidates aged 16 to 19. Please ensure, if you are applying for the Modern Apprentice post, that you are between the ages of 16 to 19. You will be asked to bring proof of age with you if you are invited to an interview.
You will have 3 National 4 Qualifications or equivalent including English
You will undertake appropriate theoretical and practical training to develop the knowledge, skills and experience required, during the apprenticeship programme to achieve appropriate SVQ qualification and assist in the provision of administrative services within the section.
You will have experience in using computers with good written and oral communication skills and have good organisational skills. You will have experience of working within a team and have good interpersonal skills with a flexible approach to work.
You must be committed and enthusiastic towards completing the full Modern Apprenticeship and to achieving SVQ in Business & Administration at Level 5 (SVQ2).
