Requirements
You will have Professional Qualification - BA in Community Learning and Development, or equivalent.
Responsibilities
The purpose of your job is the development of community learning and development opportunities which are responsive to local need and which lead to positive outcomes for participants.
This is achieved through working as part of a team.
The Individual
You will have an experience of development community based CLD Youth Work provision along with experience of partnership working and monitoring and evaluation.
You will have good verbal and written communication skills, ability to work as part of a team and to work from own initiative.
You will have advocacy skills, ability to motivate young people. You will have commitment to values and principles which underpin CLD.
You will be available to work evenings and weekends.
This post is considered Regulated Work with Children and/or Protected Adults, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme, or undergo a PVG Scheme update check, prior to a formal offer of employment being made by Dundee City Council.
