Based at Mitchell Street Centre, you will work full time, 37 hours per week, including evening and weekend work. This post is fixed term until 19 February 2020.
This Project is part funded by the European Structural Funds. The post holder(s) will be solely involved in European Social Fund activities (i.e. spend 100% of their contracted hours on the ESF project only and undertake no other non-ESF project related duties).
You will have a Degree/Diploma/ post graduate professional qualification in Community Learning and Development or other relevant professional qualification.
You will work as part of a team supporting the delivery of the department's community learning and development opportunities.
You will identify and respond to local community learning and development needs.
You will support eligible participants of the Big Lottery Fund / ESF Financial Inclusion Project identified as requiring community learning and development support.
You will have experience of working with individuals and groups in a community setting, be able to work within a team, set targets, work to deadlines, engage with local communities and have ICT skills.
You will be able to manage support staff, be adaptable, flexible, approachable, supportive, and willing to work evenings and weekends as required.
A Basic Disclosure Scotland Check is also required.
