Based in the Community Regeneration and Participation Team in the Communities Section, you will work full time, 37 hours per week. This will include occasional evening and weekend work as required.
You will have a degree/diploma/post graduate professional qualification in Community Learning and Development or other relevant professional qualification
You will work as part of a team supporting the delivery of the Council’s Community Learning and Development opportunities. You will assist the Council in delivering tenant participation and identify and respond to Community Learning and Development needs
You will have experience of working with individuals and groups in a community setting, statutory/voluntary organisations, and of Community Regeneration including Capacity Building with Community Groups. You will also be able to work in a team, set targets and work to deadlines. You will be able to engage with local communities and manage/support staff/volunteers. You will be able to work evenings and weekends as required.
