Based at Neighbourhood Services, Construction Services, Clepington Road you will work full time, 37 hours per week.

Requirements

You will be educated to Degree/ SVQ5 level, or equivalent, in a relevant subject area, eg Construction.

Responsibilities

To ensure that all the major and/or minor projects and servicing agreements are planned, carried out safely, efficiently, effectively and timeously, all in accordance with Statutory requirements, Specification, Contract Conditions and Schedule of Quantities, and are completed within the agreed economic parameters. This role is directly responsible for regulated trades including Electrical, Gas/Plumbing and Scaffold.

The Individual

You will have experience at manager level or above in construction industry, controlling multiple projects along with experience in relevant trade background.

You will have knowledge of construction industry with electrical and mechanical knowledge. Ability to interpret drawings, working knowledge of Microsoft Office - including Office 365, ability to work to timescales and ability to perform duties under pressure is required.

You will have good communication skills - oral and written, leadership skills, organisational ability and flexibility in working hours.

You will also hold a current driving licence.
