You will be contracted on average 4 days per month, at a daily rate of £250 plus expenses. The appointment will be for one year in the first instance. Previous applicants need not re-apply.
You will have a sound understanding of public sector governance.
You will ensure that the Adult Support & Protection Committee fulfils its statutory responsibilities and contributes to the safeguarding of adults at risk of harm in Dundee through effective policy and practice.
You will have experience of operating at an executive level, the implementation of community care policies, procedures and standards, chairing multi-disciplinary groups and meetings and experience and knowledge of the policy and legislative framework within which the Adult Protection Committee operates. You will also have good numeracy, literacy, analytical and evaluation skills, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, good report writing skills and a commitment to collaborative working. You will be able to travel efficiently in the course of your duties.
