Based at Oakland Centre, you will work part time, 30 hours per week, working 5 days over 7 on a rota basis. A Living Wage supplement will be applied up to the equivalent of £8.51 per hour, as appropriate.
You will have previous domestic experience.
Duties include general cleaning and laundry work, maintaining hygiene and the cleanliness of the home. This includes the use of industrial cleaning and laundry equipment. Other tasks may include dining room duties and assisting in the Kitchen with washing up, etc.
You will be able to communicate effectively and work as part of a team. You will be flexible with your working hours and be able to work shift patterns and weekends. You must be able to keep the Home clean to a standard agreeable to the Manager. This post is considered Regulated Work with Children and/or Protected Adults, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check prior to a formal offer of employment being made by Dundee City Council.
