Job Description

Based in City Development, Dundee House, you will work full time, 37 hours per week.

Requirements

You will have a HNC, or equivalent, in a relevant subject area and evidence of continuing professional development.

Responsibilities

You will contribute to the delivery of a high-quality Planning and Building Standards E-Development service.

The Individual

You will form part of a successful team, offering a high quality IT and customer focused service for both the planning and building standards teams.

Experience of strategic development and operational management of a digital service and of maintaining and developing an electronic case management system.

You will provide effective service delivery and have innovative ways of working and be able to maintain effective partnerships across professional, service and organisational boundaries. You will also have experience of developing computer programming including; syntax coding and a working knowledge Microsoft packages particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint, eg, the creation and exporting of pivot tables in Excel packages.

You will be able to understand, interpret and manage financial and budgetary information, identify and manage risk, exploit opportunities and provide solutions.

You will have the ability to communicate effectively with key stakeholders, internally and externally, to achieve operational outcomes. You will have the ability to work to strict deadlines, to work under pressure of budget and time constraints, be adaptable and open to change and be a team player and build effective working relationships.

You will be able to work flexibly when required, including occasional evening working.
