Requirements

You will have REHIS Diploma, or equivalent.

Responsibilities

To lead and supervise the professional and technical staff and manage the various functions and areas of responsibilities within Regulatory Services in order to ensure that the City Council and private & commercial sectors meet compliance with the relevant legislation and guidance.

The Individual

You will have proven experience in managing a range of environmental health functions, including public health, food safety, health & safety and environmental compliance functions and proven experience in team leading.

You will have good leadership, interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate clearly, verbally and in writing. You will be computer literate, with a confident and professional manner. Cope under pressure and organise workload, good organisational skills and able to work on own initiative and as part of a team. You will also have experience of report writing and providing effective presentations.

You require a full, clean driving licence.
