Job Description

Based in Dundee House, you will work full time, 37 hours per week on a temporary basis until 31 March 2023, secondments may be considered for internal candidates, please seek your Manager's approval before applying.

Requirements

You will be educated to diploma level in a relevant subject area; or have significant work experience in a project/change management environment in an IT related field.

Responsibilities

You will work within a small team and be responsible for analysing and evaluating numerous processes, services and data sets and will provide system support on the implementation and ongoing development of major IT systems.

You will meet the strategic aims of the service, and support the transition to a more agile and flexible service, the post holder will help to ensure that business information systems are developed and supported to maximise effective use and achieve identified business aims and efficiencies in ways of working.

You will work collaboratively with lead officers from management, business, administration, Council partnerships and user groups.

The Individual

You will have demonstrable experience in supporting project management of programmes of work to completion. You will have experience in translating business process requirements into workflow and data reporting solutions. You will have experience of analysing business processes, gathering information and working collaboratively to develop business solutions and demonstrable experience of administrating and supporting large software systems for business/service use.

You will have demonstrable experience of delivering information gathering/process improvement workshops. You will have excellent oral/written communication skills and good knowledge of Microsoft packages particularly Word, Excel and PowerPoint and ability to utilise Business Intelligence tools. You will have the ability to work with staff at all levels to develop solutions to complex problems and have experience of training preparation and delivery.

You will have excellent ability to communicate with and prepare communication for staff at all levels within the organisation including staff within partner organisations and the ability to use and implement change management processes. You will have the ability to work to deadlines and to work flexibly when required.
