Based at 3 City Square, you will work full time, 37 hours per week.
You will have a HNC/SVQ level 3 or equivalent in a relevant subject or experience of Private Sector Housing.
You will provide a comprehensive information and advisory service to the public on all aspects of Landlord Registration and Accreditation in accordance with the provisions of current legislation and policies of the City Council. Co-ordinating, effecting and ensuring that the appropriate administrative procedures relative to the processing of all enquiries and applications are carried out.
You will have a knowledge of the private rented sector including tenancy management, experience of investigating and dealing with complaints and of managing a large workload. You will be methodical, numerate and have the ability to meet deadlines. You will also have good IT skills, including using databases and Excel, effective communication and report writing skills and be able to communicate effectively with landlords, agents and the public. You will be adaptable, flexible, approachable and have the ability to work on your own initiative with minimum supervision and to work under pressure.
