Leisure & Culture Dundee is a Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation (SCIO) SC042421. It was established by Dundee City Council in July 2011 to deliver leisure, sports, library, information and cultural services for the city. www.leisureandculturedundee.com Leisure Attendants are required on a casual basis to support operations across multiple facilities within the Leisure and Sport Service. When work is available you will be contacted. There is no obligation on Leisure and Culture Dundee to offer you work, nor are you obliged to accept work. The rate of pay is £7.83. A Living Wage supplement will be applied up to the equivalent of £8.33 per hour, as appropriate.
2 Standard Grade Passes at level 3 in Maths & English or Relevant Experience.
Day-to-day responsibility for effectively addressing operational issues, health & safety matters and customer-focused facilities/services/activities, relating to Leisure Attendant roles/duties.
You will have excellent communication skills to work within a team and have the ability to manage time effectively. You will be required to follow Health and Safety guidelines, Safe Systems of Work and complete Daily inspection checklist. You must have an ability to use initiative and be willing to develop your skills & attend all relevant training. You will have experience cash handling. You must be able to work flexibly, including weekends and public holidays.
