This is a one year Modern Apprenticeship based in Dundee House, 50 North Lindsay Street, working full time, 37 hours per week. The Modern Apprentice Scheme is focused to target high youth unemployment in the Dundee Area and the funding for training is only available for candidates aged 16 to 19. Please ensure, if you are applying for a Modern Apprentice post, that you are between the ages of 16 to 19. You will be asked to bring proof of age with you if you are invited for an interview.
You will have a National 4 in English and Maths, or equivalent.
You will undertake appropriate theoretical and practical training to develop the knowledge, skills and experience required during the apprenticeship programme and assist in the provision of administrative services within the Corporate Services Division.
You will have good verbal and written communication skills, accuracy and attention to detail, the ability to work individually and as part of a team and to problem solve. You will also be customer focused and willing to take instruction. Commitment and enthusiasm towards completing the full Modern Apprenticeship and to achieving SVQ Level 2 in Business and Administration @ SCQF Level 5 is essential.
