Requirements

You will be educated to HND/AAT level or equivalent in finance/ business administration of a similar discipline.

Responsibilities

You will develop and implement new and improved ways of delivering a comprehensive finance and resource management support service to Primary and Nursery Head Teachers across the City. You will provide specific support to Primary and Nursery Head Teachers to ensure they effectively manage their finances and resources ensuring they comply with appropriate regulations.

The Individual

You will have experience of working in a financial environment, be able to communicate effectively with staff at all levels, use computer financial systems and have knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word. You will also be able to prioritise your own workload and work within tight timescales.

Excellent written and oral communication, problem solving and analytical skills are also essential, along with good team working skills. You will have the ability to build good working relationships with colleagues and other internal and external stakeholders and be able to propose solutions to issues identified, implement continuous improvement to processes.
