Job Description

Based both at home and in Pensions Section, Dundee House, you will work full time 37 hours per week.

Requirements

You will have 4 National 5s, including Maths and English, or relevant pension's office experience.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for assisting the Pensions Officer in the day to day running of the Pensions Section.

The Individual

You will have previous experience of working with the Local Government Pension Scheme along with the ability to supervise/mentor staff, work within a team and work with minimum supervision.

You will have good written and oral communication skills with an attention to detail along with good organisational skills and the ability to remain focused despite interruption.

You will be computer literate with a basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.

You will be approachable with a calm disposition and have the ability to exercise discretion and empathy in difficult circumstances and get on well with people.

You will show enthusiasm and have a flexible approach to work and the ability to work under pressure.
