Job Description
Based both at home and at Claverhouse East, you will work full time, 37 hours per week on a fixed term basis until 31 March 2023.

Requirements
You will have 60 relevant credit points towards first year of social work degree (one of HNC in social care or social sciences, K100, K101 or DD100).
Responsibilities
You will provide supervisory and support services and carry a caseload of appropriate cases. Work alongside and under the direction of a senior or professionally qualified worker to carry out specific tasks.
The successful candidate, when required, will give priority to support unpaid carers as noted in the Carers (Scotland) Act, 2013 and to support them in completing an Adult Carers Support Plan.
The Individual
You will have experience of working with relevant service user groups.
You will have planning, organisational and good oral and written communication skills and an understanding of issues affecting relevant service group.
You will have a commitment to maintaining high standards of care.
You must be able to work flexibly between 8am and 8 pm.
This post is considered Regulated Work with Children and/or Protected Adults, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme, or undergo a PVG Scheme update check, prior to a formal offer of employment being made by Dundee City Council.
