Based at Dundee House, you will work full time, 37 hours per week, fixed term for 2 years.
You will be educated to diploma level in a relevant subject area or Significant work experience in a project/change management environment in an IT related field.
You will work within a small team and be responsible for analysing and evaluating numerous processes, and data sets and will provide system support on the implementation and ongoing development of major IT systems.
To meet the strategic aims of the service, and support the transition to a more agile and flexible service, the post holder will help to ensure that business information systems are developed and supported to maximise effective use and achieve identified business aims and efficiencies in ways of working.
The post holder will work collaboratively with lead officers from management, business, administration, Council partnerships and user groups.
You will have demonstrable experience in supporting project management of programmes of work to completion and experience in translating business process requirements into workflow and data reporting solutions.
You will have experience of analysing business processes, gathering information and working collaboratively to develop business solutions, of administering and supporting large software systems for business/service use and of delivering information gathering/process improvement workshops.
You will have good knowledge of Microsoft packages and the ability to utilise Business Intelligence tools and be able to work with staff at all levels to develop solutions to complex problems.
You will be able to use and implement change management processes and be an excellent communicator.
You will have the ability to work in a team environment, manage and prioritise your own workload, work to deadlines and work flexibly when required.
