Dundee City Council is committed to supporting youth employment through its employability agenda and are seeking to offer unemployed or underemployed graduates the opportunity to gain experience on a temporary basis for 12 months.
This graduate work experience opportunity is focused to target unemployment in the Dundee area and only available for candidates aged 24 and under. You will be educated to degree level in a relevant subject, eg design, communications and be graduated in the last 3 years.
You will undertake a 12 month work experience placement to assist the service to establish, develop and gather relevant People data and help to introduce systems to ensure continuing consistent information is available to support current and future working practices and workforce planning and change.
You will have knowledge/understanding in research, analysis and information management with an ability to interpret and present data accordingly to support organisational goals.
You will have the ability to communicate effectively through a variety of methods and have ICT, database and spreadsheet skills. You will also be flexible, have attention to detail and accuracy and the ability to work as part of a team or on your own initiative.
