Job Description
Based at West District Office at Sinclair Street you will work full time, 37 hours per week.
Dundee City Council is committed to supporting youth employment through its employability agenda and are seeking to offer unemployed or underemployed graduates the opportunity to gain experience on a temporary basis for 12 months.
This graduate work experience opportunity is focused to target unemployment in the Dundee area and only available for candidates aged 24 and under. Requirements
You will be educated to Degree level in a relevant subject and be graduated within the last 3 years.
Responsibilities
You will undertake a 12-month work experience placement to support the implementation of the Council’s resilience strategy and ensuring the Council complies with its statutory duties as defined within Civil Contingencies and related legislation.
The Individual
You will have excellent organisational, communication, analytical and problem solving skills as well as experience of Microsoft Office and other software packages.
You will have the ability to work creatively, prioritise workload, work to deadlines with minimum supervision and as part of a team.
