Job Description

Leisure & Culture Dundee is a Scottish Charitable Incorporated Organisation (SCIO) SC042421. It was established by Dundee City Council in July 2011 to deliver leisure, sports, library, information and cultural services for the city.

The Regional Performance Centre for Sport Dundee (RPC Dundee) is an extensive sports complex within Caird Park in Dundee. Newly opened in August 2019, the centre has top class facilities including a 400m outdoor athletics track, indoor athletics facilities, sports halls, performance suite, analysis / meeting rooms, indoor and outdoor 3G pitches accredited by both FIFA and World Rugby.

We are looking for two committed, hard working individuals to join our team of leisure attendants to ensure the facility operates effectively and to provide an excellent level of customer service.

There are two posts with slightly varying 4 week rota patterns to provide cover from 7.30am – 10.30pm, 7 days a week.


2 National 4 passes (or equivalent), or relevant experience.


Day-to-day responsibility for effectively addressing operational issues, health & safety matters and customer-focused facilities/services/activities, relating to Leisure Attendant roles/duties.

The Individual

You will have excellent communication skills to work within a team and good interpersonal skills including good customer service skills. You will also have the ability to manage time effectively with little supervision and be able to maintain accurate records, have experience of using IT and have experience of cash handling.

You will be able to work under pressure and be able to use your initiative and be able to respond to the needs of the service.

You will have the ability to work flexible hours including weekends and public holidays.

You will be required to follow Health and Safety guidelines, Safe Systems of Work and complete Daily inspection checklist.

You must be willing to develop your skills and attend all relevant training.
