Contributing to and delivering excellent customer service across Ayrshire Leisure, the Customer Experience Assistant will facilitate the organisation, preparation and delivery of a wide range of planned programmes, activities, events across East Ayrshire Leisure contributing to the design and delivery of innovative, modern and sustainable services. Working within a performance management and continuous improvement framework the postholder will strive to exceed the expectations of the East Ayrshire Leisure Strategy and Delivery Plan and in doing so promote and recognise the importance of people in delivering our vision and values;

The duties of the post involve Regulated Work with children and/or protected adults, as specified in the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Successful applicants for such posts will be required to become a Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme member in respect of Regulated Work with either or both of these groups as appropriate, or if they are already a Scheme member, be subject to a PVG Scheme Record Update, before any formal offer of employment can be made by East Ayrshire Leisure.

Rate of Pay
Rate of Pay - £10.34 per hour
Hours of Work - As and when required basis (applicants must be available to work evenings and weekends)
Cover is predominantly required in the Cumnock Area, but applicants should also be able to work across East Ayrshire if needed.
Provide a warm welcome and 5 star visitor experience to visitors of all abilities in accordance with the East Ayrshire Leisure Customer Services standards, whilst communicating an excellent knowledge of East Ayrshire Leisure's facilities, events, exhibitions and programmes.
Act as an ambassador for East Ayrshire Leisure, working collaboratively across all key partners and stakeholders developing and maintaining close working relationships and at all times demonstrating integrity and respect.
Ensuring the implementation of relevant East Ayrshire Leisure policies. Leisure at the Heart of Every Community
Facilitate the organisation, preparation and delivery of a wide range of planned programmes, activities, events across East Ayrshire Leisure e.g. support for the Residential Centre programmes, Box Office and Booking services, Visitor Centre services, Sports activities and Library services, in order to meet the priorities outlined in the delivery plan.
Assist with the day to day operational set up, delivery and conclusion of activities and events to ensure that all areas are compliant with Health and Safety regulations.
Working collaboratively with all service areas and teams, particularly to engender a more cohesive and corporate approach to cross boundary working.
