Support the provision of secure, safe, clean, efficient, effective and well managed community venue facilities in order to assist with the promotion, delivery and integration of East Ayrshire Leisure’s Business Plan.
To be considered for interview, candidates must demonstrate that they meet all essential criteria of the attached job specification. Assist the Sport and Community Venues management in providing safe and fit venues for public use ensuring that all areas are clean and operational in line with the current maintenance and reporting procedures and Health and Safety legislation. Assist in the effective delivery of Sport and Community Venues frontline services, ensuring all post activities are completed in accordance with the agreed satisfaction standards. Work as part of a team to support the delivery of a programme of activities designed to engage and meet the needs of a wide range of community based customers.
Rate Of Pay
Rate of Pay: £7.24 per hour - supported by Scottish Living Wage of £8.51 per hour. Required to work in the following facilities:- Auchinleck Boswell Centre Darvel Town Hall Galston Community Centre Morton Hall, Newmilns Stewarton Area Centre
Support the positive delivery of pre-booked events by ensuring all equipment is set up and checked in advance of events and activities, dismantled and securely stored in accordance with the manufacturer’s guidelines, risk assessments and current regulations. Carry out regular security and maintenance checks throughout the venue(s), reporting minor and emergency repairs and take appropriate actions to ensure areas are made safe in accordance with established procedures. Undertake cleaning activities ensuring any chemicals or materials are used in accordance with the instructions provided. Provide assistance to users in the event of an emergency evacuation of the venue in accordance with the facility’s emergency evacuation plan. Respond efficiently and effectively to all queries including face-to-face, telephony and electronic interactions with the users and colleagues across East Ayrshire Leisure, ensuring accurate information is provided in all matters related to the use of the venue.
