Engage proactively and positively with children, young people and adults within East Ayrshire Leisure Sport and Community Venues to facilitate their personal, social and physical development through the provision of a range of physical activities and in order to assist with the promotion, delivery and integration of East Ayrshire Leisure’s Business Plan.
East Ayrshire Leisure are looking to recruit an experienced, motivated and committed coach to plan, implement and lead sports sessions as part of the East Ayrshire wide sports coaching programme. Successful candidates will share our passion and vision for the development of sport and will be required to demonstrate a proven record of successful working with people and coaching programmes, together with excellent leadership, planning, delivery and communication skills to deliver on our organisational objectives. The interview process will also include the candidate preparing and delivering a ten minute practical based coaching session in either gymnastics, football, athletics, badminton or handball.
Rate of Pay
Rate of Pay - £9.24 per hour. Hours for this post will be as and when required.
Facilitate the organisation, preparation and delivery of a range of planned sports physical activities for children, young people and adults. Provide direct instruction and supervise a range of sport and physical activities attended by children, young people and adults participating in East Ayrshire Leisure’s planned programmes. Work as part of a team which plans, coordinates and implements a programme of sport and physical activities designed to engage and meet the needs of a wide range of community based participants as well as facility users. Assist in the promotion of the personal and social development activities provided by the Sport and Community Venues Team
