Job Description

Assist in the effective and efficient transfer of library stock and equipment to venues operated by East Ayrshire Leisure in order to assist with the promotion, delivery and integration of East Ayrshire Leisure’s Business and Libraries Team Plan.

Requirements

The duties of this post requires access to the public sector network and therefore the successful applicant must complete a basic Disclosure Scotland application. A formal offer of employment with East Ayrshire Leisure will only be made once satisfactory clearance has been received. Responsibilities

Rate of Pay = £8.51 per hour. This post is supported by the Scottish Living Wage Allowance. Hours of Work - "As and when required"

The Individual

Undertake the collection and transfer of a range of library related stock and other items required to support the delivery of Library Services across various establishments within East Ayrshire ensuring all post activities are completed in accordance with the agreed Key Performance Indicators standards. Ensure safe use and operation of a Trust-owned vehicle undertaking daily checks, routine cleaning and reporting defects. Assist the Libraries Services management in providing safe and fit venues for public use ensuring that all areas are clean and operational in line with the current maintenance and reporting procedures and Health and Safety legislation.
