Job Purpose

To undertake the operation and maintenance of the Girvan Harbour and its environs including the direction of vessels within the Harbour Limits and the provision of services in order to assist with the promotion, delivery and integration of the Council’s key objectives; specifically in relation to the Community Plan, Shared Commitments, Single Outcome Agreement and Best Value.

Additional Information

This is a permanent post based at Grangeston Depot and covering the Girvan Harbour. The hours of work are 35 hours per week in the summer months (April - September) and 25 hours per week in the winter (October - March), averaging out and paid at 30 hours per week throughout the year.

Annual salary £20,982 - £22,401
