Job Purpose

To support the Group Finance Manager in the delivery of all aspects of the capital accounting requirements, including capital financing, leasing and loans fund accounting. The post holder will contribute to the development, maintenance and direct supervision of financial systems and processes which support the effective management and delivery of Capital Accounting and Financing within East Ayrshire in order to assist with the promotion, delivery and integration of the key objectives in relation to those identified within the Finance and ICT Service Plan and the Community Plan.

This is a permanent full time post. The admin base for this post is The Opera House, 8 John Finnie Street, Kilmarnock

Normal office hours are Monday - Thursday 9am - 5pm & Friday 9am - 4pm

Annual Salary £43,553 - £47,629

The workstyle for this post is ‘Flexible’ - 50-79% of time is office based. Able to work at different/ multiple work locations. Occasionally works at home, or another location 1-2 days per week, or directly home to external appointments.
