It is East Lothian Council's policy that successful applicants will be placed on the first point of the salary scale. The salary advertised is full time (35 hours per week, 52 weeks per year). Part-time hours / sessional posts will be pro-rated accordingly.
Hourly rate of pay: £10.95-£11.98
Temporary part time post until 31st March 2022
This is a 39 week sessional post i.e. working hours will be during school term time plus in-service days.

Monday 08.55 - 15.20 and Friday 08.55 - 12.35

Preston Tower Primary is a large friendly school with around 900 pupils, split over 2 campuses. West Loan campus is for nursery, P1 – P3 pupils and the Preston Road campus is for P4-7 pupils.
The successful applicant will be based in our West Loan campus but expected to work across both if necessary. We have a new Head Teacher who started in August and 2 Deputes and 1 Principal Teacher at each campus.

Nursery Only: SSSC registration or agreement to register within 6 months from the date of appointment to this post is essential.
