Home Working Consideration
Although usually office based, this post may be considered for a homeworking contract (either fully or on an ad hoc basis) in accordance with East Lothian Council’s Home Working and Worksmart Policies, and the requirements of the service.

Job Details

To plan, manage and complete digital projects to deadline and budget; co-ordinating the efforts of project teams and / or third party consultants to bring projects to completion according to agreed project plans.

To be the direct interface with the Project Board or Boards / Council Management Team (CMT) and other senior managers, providing best value, reassurance and support as required.

To report project plans and progress to the Project Board or Boards / CMT and to be involved in the implementation and monitoring of digital projects, ensuring compliance with agreed 
plans.

Job Requirements

Relevant Qualifications
Educated to Degree Level or equivalent and/or able to demonstrate equivalent 
knowledge, skills and competencies gained through substantial experience in 
local government (or related sector, including the third sector), in project 
management of digital / IT projects.
