The Education Support Officer (ESO) will work across the local authority as part of the ELW team to develop and implement delivery of Numeracy and family engagement provision for adults and youths across the region. The post holder will contribute to all aspects of progressing, developing and delivering provision including working with schools, parents, departmental staff, partners and other agencies to construct authority policies, quality assurance procedures, training, curriculum development and specialised support for youths, adults and families. In work poverty is a priority for ‘No One Left Behind’ and the ‘Parental Employability Support Fund’. The ESO will look for best practice and opportunities for partnership development.
