We are looking for 3 separate individuals to work 1 day per fortnight of 8.75 hours from 07.45-17.00
Emergency care workers follow a 2 week rota and these posts will cover as follows:
Post 1: Mondays (fortnightly) - week 1 of 2 week rota
Post 2: Tuesdays (fortnightly) - week 1 of 2 week rota
Post 3: Fridays (fortnightly) - week 2 of 2 week rota

The Emergency Care Service was developed in partnership between East Lothian Council and the NHS, and is responsible for delivering a 24 hour service.
We are looking for enthusiastic and dedicated individuals who has a caring nature and excellent communication skills who must have experience and understanding of the issues relating to the specific needs of older adults.
To deliver an emergency service (24 hours 7 days per week) providing personal care and support to older people living in their own homes, in line with Department policies, procedures and standards.

SVQ 2 in Social Services and Healthcare and/or able to demonstrate equivalent knowledge, skills and competencies gained through relevant experience.
If you do not hold the above qualification, you will be required to undertake a course of study to obtain an SVQ Level 2 qualification within the required timescale to meet the requirements of SSSC.
As the duties of this role require you to effectively travel to successfully undertake the full remit of the role, you must hold a current driving licence and have access to a vehicle.*
