Monday - Thursday 08.00 -16.30, Friday 08.00 - 14.00 - with one floating hour to be taken at a time to suit the service

Olivebank provides a vital service for children from birth to school age over 52 weeks per year, many of whom are on the Child Protection Register or are Looked after Children. The Senior Nursery Officer is a key member of the unit's management team, deputising for the Depute manager and the Centre Manager when required and providing cover within the playrooms to ensure that we comply with National Care Standards at all times across the centre.

To assist the Centre’s Co-ordinator with the management, co-ordination and development of a unit-based service for children 0 – 5 years and their families ensuring that these services are inclusive, meets the need and maximises the potential of children and their families.

HNC Childcare and Education, SVQ3 Early Learning and Childcare, NNEB or
equivalent level of qualification and be able to demonstrate equivalent knowledge, skills and competencies gained through relevant experience.

The postholder must either be registered with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) prior to appointment or register within 6 months of the date of your appointment and maintain registration throughout the period of your employment.
