This Team Manager post is based in the Access and Rehabilitation service within East Lothian Health and Social Care Partnership.
As a member of the Integrated management team you will have an opportunity to influence and lead on the future development of the Occupational Therapy Service within the East Lothian Health and Social Care Partnership. You will manage Senior staff and participate in the Management team as part of the Integrated Rehabilitation Service.
We are committed to continuously developing our services. The successful candidate will be expected to contribute proactively to improving outcomes as part of East Lothian Health and Social Care Partnership. You will be supported to develop your career and participate in training and development.
Experience of Community Occupational Therapy, Complex case work and risk assessment is essential. You should have sound knowledge in Management and the delivery of statutory Occupational Therapy services including a knowledge of Social Care policy and legislation.
You will need to be professionally qualified and registered with the HCPC and be able to demonstrate experience in staff supervision and management..

Degree or Diploma in Occupational Therapy
Evidence of a commitment to Continual Professional Development.
A full current driving licence is desirable for this post.
This post is considered as Regulated Work with vulnerable children and/or protected adults, as specified in the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007.
