The post holder will lead and support home care, emergency care service and falls team.  

Job Details

To manage the day to day provision of the Home Care Service, Emergency Care Service and Meals Service throughout East Lothian.

Job Requirements

Relevant Qualifications
Hold an SVQ Social Services and Healthcare at SCQF Level 9 (or equivalent) and an SVQ Care Services Leadership and Management at SCQF Level 10 (or equivalent management qualification) which meet the professional registration requirements of SSSC
OR
Hold an SVQ Social Services and Healthcare at SCQF Level 9 (or equivalent) with a commitment to achieve the SVQ Care Services Leadership and Management at SCQF Level 10 (or equivalent) in the first period of registration to meet the SSSC registration requirements.

Driving Licence
A full current driving licence is desirable for this post.

PVG Membership
This post is considered as Regulated Work with vulnerable children and/or protected adults, as specified in the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007.

All preferred candidates for posts carrying out regulated work with these groups will be required to become a PVG Scheme member, or undergo a PVG Scheme update if they are already a member, prior to any formal offer of employment being made by East Lothian Council.
