Applications are invited for the role of Facilities Coordinator within the Facilities Team of the Building Design Unit.
The Building Design Unit encompasses a range of services such as architectural, quantity surveying, inspectorate, hard facilities management services as well as energy and climate change functions.
This post is to lead a multi-disciplined team of professional and technical staff across a wide range of activities to provide a full hard FM property management and contract administration/supervision service, including statutory maintenance, repair and refurbishment projects as well as energy management and climate change functions for both Council and external clients.
The successful candidate will be qualified to degree level, be a full member of an appropriate professional body such as the RICS, CIOB, RIAS or similar with experience within the construction, property maintenance or facilities management environment, commensurate with the senior level of this role.
Experience of computer aided design, surveying and facilities management systems and public procurement, as well as experience within a local authority / public sector environment would be a distinct advantage.
