Support for Learning Assistant (Advanced)
Due to the Scottish Government’s intended expansion of Early Learning and Childcare to increase the hours of entitlement to 1140, Falkirk Council Children’s Services are seeking to recruit two enthusiastic Support for Learning Assistants to support the delivery of Early Learning and Childcare within a large team at the new Camelon Early Learning and Childcare Centre.
You will provide support for early years professionals and children to enhance experiences and achievement for children.
You will undertake a range of support activities with regard to general supervision, safety, care and well-being of the children. Good communication skills are essential and you should enjoy working with children and as part of a team.
If you are the successful candidate, you will be required to gain/maintain PVG scheme membership.
You will be required to register as a ‘Support Worker in a day care of children service’ with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC).
These posts are part time (20 hours) and are based on a full year contract .
