As Chief Executive of Falkirk Council you will be responsible for the effective management and leadership of all Council services, as well as ensuring effective implementation of Council policies and strategies.

You will be an experienced professional who will lead our management team, delivering continuous improvement and new ways of working which ensure the Council’s track record of high quality services continues, while maintaining efficiency in all we do.

You will excel in leading on complex and strategic issues including managing a range of diverse services in a complex organisation. You will also have an excellent track record of effective financial and risk management with experience of managing contingency planning arrangements. In addition you will have astute political awareness in both a local and national context.
