To deliver CLD activity, within a specific geography to achieve the national CLD outcomes of: 

  • improved life chances for people of all ages through learning, personal development and active citizenship 
  • stronger, more resilient, supportive, influential and inclusive communities 

Before confirming appointment, you will be required to obtain Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland and become a member of the relevant PVG scheme.

The Individual

This is a key role within the North-East Fife Community Learning & Development team.

The successful candidate will be self-motivated, enthusiastic and offer a high degree of professional commitment to the post, and must have a:

Degree in Community Learning & Development (or equivalent recognised by the CLD Standards Council for full registration) at SCQF Level 9 plus:

Experience of developing and delivering learning programmes

An understanding of the issues which affect communities

Experience of multi-agency working

Ability to work in partnership in a range of settings
