The Mobile Assistant is responsible for installing and maintaining Community Alarm Units and Telecare equipment.
Programme and demonstrate Community Alarm and Telecare devices for vulnerable Service Users and family members within their homes throughout Fife.
Attending to faulty equipment, repairs and replacements.
Conducting a technical assessment of faulty units.
Updating and recording on IT system
Before confirming appointment, you will be required to obtain Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland and become a member of the relevant PVG scheme.
We pay the Scottish Local Government Living Wage of £9.07 per hour for this post.
Education: 4 National or Standard Grades at General Level or O’Grade equivalent.
Interpersonal skills (Focus on customer)
Good Communication skills.
Work individually and work within a Team
Knowledge/experience of Health and Social Care Partnership Agencies.
Basic IT skills.
Knowledge of equipment/electrics/telecommunication systems
Ability to deal with multiple tasks and work under pressure.
Positive attitude towards service users
You need to hold a driving licence to travel throughout Fife.
