Job Details

Due to the current Service Manager taking up a new position, a fantastic opportunity is available for the Macmillan Improving the Cancer Journey Team until August 2022.

You will be educated to SCQF 11 Postgraduate Degree in relevant subject area or equivalent and will continue to develop and direct the improving the cancer journey service in line with the H&SCP strategy; overseeing pathway design and ensure that subsequent operational (i.e. clinical and SW) delivery is set up and delivered within appropriate governance standards.

You will establish, manage, and lead business process activity within agreed work programmes across social care service, leisure and culture services, NHS cancer services, Macmillan Cancer Support, other external agencies and will be required to prepare regular reports on behalf of senior management, including progress reports, options appraisals and feasibility and cost benefit studies to be presented to management teams, governance groups and statutory boards and committees as required.
