Job Description

We are recruiting to Home Carer roles (weekend working only) across Glasgow Health and Social Care partnership (HSCP).

Role – Home Carer (weekend working only)
Base Location – 100 Borron Street, G4 9XE - covering citywide service across Glasgow
Salary – you could earn up to £13.65 per hour, this will depend on the allocated shift pattern
Hours and Shift Pattern – 20 hours per week, Saturday/Sunday 08.00hrs-13.30hrs and 16.00hrs-21.30hrs (a half hour unpaid break is included in each shift)

This role is providing a weekend service across the city.  A valid full driving licence is required for this role.  No previous experience or qualifications are necessary and all training will be provided by our in-house training team to give you the required skills and confidence to enable you to begin your career as a home carer.

The role requires you to have a relevant qualification to allow you to register with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC).  If you do not have this, Glasgow HSCP will provide and fund you obtaining the qualification that is required.  You are required to have obtained SSSC Registration within 6 months of employment.

Membership of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme is essential on taking up appointment.
