Job Description
An exiting opportunity has arisen for the position of Project Manager working within Care Service's area of business. The role of the Project Manager within Care Services is to establish and manage project groups and timelines effectively as well as lead on, plan and deliver projects or initiatives related to the operational delivery of a high quality, person centred care service. As a Project Manager of the service you will support the senior management team with the strategic directives of the service and have regular contact with the Care Inspectorate, staff and service users and their families. Previous experience of working in a care centred environment and an awareness of the National Care Standard would be advantageous.To succeed in this role, you will be a confident, self-motivated, and a driven individual with a flexible approach. Excellent written, verbal and IT skills are essential.The successful applicant should have a dynamic approach to service delivery and demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively with internal/external customers and meet agreed performance targets. This is a challenging, energetic and exciting role and an opportunity to be part of a large team committed to supporting service improvement and driving up the quality of homecare provision within Glasgow. Applicants are required to have Ability to produce bespoke and complex reports using multiple datasets and the ability to analyse and present complex information to a variety of audiences with the experience of using project management tools. Completion of project management training is desirable.
Membership of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme will be essential on taking up appointment.
