We are recruiting an Assistant Digital Marketing Officer, to join our 3,000 strong team of dedicated staff and volunteers. You will be responsible for carrying out marketing and promotional activity for the Glasgow Code Learning (GCL) Digital Skills programme.
The GCL programme was created in response to the skills gap within the digital technologies sector, the fastest growing sector in Scotland. This role is offered on a temporary basis for up to 12 months due to external funding.
Reporting to the programme’s Coordinator, your duties will include creating innovative marketing campaigns to engage with participants, partner organisations and funders. As part of GL’s Marketing and Communications team, you will work alongside the GCL programme’s Employer Engagement Coordinator and Project Officers to manage the promotional and marketing activities of GCL projects at both a city and national level.
To be successful in this role you should have the following skills and experience:
• Previous experience in coordinating effective social media campaigns and/ or email marketing campaigns
• You will be flexible and adaptable with a positive and proactive attitude
• You will be able to work well individually and contribute as part of a dynamic team
• Excellent communication skills.
