Job Description

As Employability Skills Project Officer, you will be responsible for leading and managing projects within the Glasgow Code Learning (GCL) Digital Skills Programme
The GCL programme was created in response to the skills gap within the digital technologies sector, the fastest growing sector in Scotland. GCL provides specialist training to support more people into robust digital occupations. More details are available at
Reporting to the programme’s Coordinator, your duties will include partner and stakeholder engagement, agreeing and managing project partners’ sub-contracts, operational and logistical management and the reporting of quality and performance information. You will also work with the GL Marketing team as well as the programme’s Employer Engagement Coordinator to manage the promotion and marketing of GCL projects at both a city and national level.
To be successful in this role you should have the following skills and experience:
• Experience of managing learning and/ or employability projects, partner engagement, performance and quality reporting and evaluation.
• You will be flexible and adaptable with a positive and proactive attitude.
• You will be able to work well individually and contribute as part of a dynamic team. 
• Excellent communication skills.
This vacancy has arisen as a result of external funding and is temporary for up to 12 months.
