Engineering Officer

Job Description

Glasgow City Council’ Sustainable Transport department require an Engineering Officer to join the team, to lead on the delivery of Active Travel behaviour change projects within Glasgow City Council. The successful candidate must have a sound understanding and knowledge of all national policy, strategy, and best practice with regards active delivery, together with an understanding of managing budgets and monitoring performance against targets.  The post holder will be based at our Glasgow office and participate in our hybrid working pilot. Generous holiday allowance and average earnings pension scheme  An HND/HNC or equivalent level qualification in a relevant discipline and a current driving licence is the minimum requirement. A degree in relevant discipline with membership of relevant professional body is desirable.
