Job Description

Scotland’s largest public authority has an exciting opportunity for an Executive Director of Education who shares our vision to continue to deliver transformational change in our schools and nurseries and improve the outcomes of every one of the city’s children and young people.
Our nurturing city is sector leading and internationally recognised for the work we do to support our children, young people and families.
Reporting directly to the Chief Executive this role has responsibility for more than 300 schools and nurseries, an annual budget in excess of £ 700 million and provides services to almost 80,000 children and young people.
