Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Finance Section of the Glasgow Health and Social Care Partnership (GCHSCP).  
The Finance Teams are responsible for financial transactions in relation to Older People, Learning Disability, Mental Health and Addiction care groups.  The applicant will provide support to care management colleagues in the completion of the financial aspects of care packages, in the main processing eforms.   As a postholder, you will ensure that payments to care providers and Direct Payments to Service Users are made accurately and timeously and respond to enquiries from service users, their representatives, colleagues and external agencies.  
The postholder will report directly to a Senior Officer and must be flexible, organised and have excellent communication skills and be proficient in Microsoft Office and client databases.
The Successful candidate must be able to work on their own initiative and also be part of a dynamic team delivering key financial service objectives.  All candidates will require to carry out budget monitoring, financial analysis, ensure accurate and timeous payments are made for services purchased or provided.
The remit will include, where appropriate, direct line supervision of staff.
