Early Years education in Glasgow is entering an exciting and challenging time as we build on the success of our services for young children and look to extend that even further. As a result Glasgow City Council is recruiting for the position Head of Nursery to be based within Keppoch Nursery
Working in partnership, we will develop and support you to allow you to lead effectively and to inspire the highest possible quality of learning for our young children.
Applications are invited from those who hold GTCS Registration or who meet the requirements for registration as a Lead Practitioner/Manager with the Scottish Social Services Commission (SSSC).
All Early Years Head of Nursery positions are based on a 52 week contractual basis. However, where a service is currently only open to children during term-time, applications to work on a term-time basis will be considered. Where a term-time pattern is agreed, the salary for the post will be adjusted on a pro-rata basis.
Membership of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme will be essential on taking up appointment along with SSSC Registration. Please note successful candidates for the above position will be required to pay for their PVG Membership/or Scheme Checks.
