Project Officer (Sustainability)

Job Description

Reporting to the Assistant Manager in the Project Design & Development team within the Sustainability team based in the City Development service you will be responsible for progressing the necessary actions in support of the Glasgow Climate Plan and associated plans & policies and working on the development of a related programme of projects, including technical evaluation and development of early stage business cases for these actions to be undertaken by the appropriate internal and external stakeholders. You should have good communication skills and proficient IT skills with experience of managing staff and allocating work. Relevant Degree and/or postgraduate qualification within public services e.g. social policy, economics, politics, geography, engineering, environment and sustainability is essential and a CPD in subject area is desirable.
