Job Description

The Homelessness Revenue and Property Team are looking to recruit a Revenue & Property Officer to join the team managing rent  arrears and booking service user in to temporary furnished flats. Experience in dealing with debt management and payment arrangements is essential.  You should possess good communication skills and be self-motivated. Organisational  skills are essential within this role as you will be responsible for your own case load. You should also be able to engage effectively with service users and build a relationship with them. Ability to work on your own and part of a team. Knowledge of homelessness legislation and housing benefit processes are desirable, along with experience of working with homeless service users.

Membership of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme will be essential on taking up appointment. Please note successful candidates for the above position will be required to pay for their PVG Membership/or Scheme Checks.

These posts are excepted under Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exclusions and Exceptions) (Scotland) Order 2013 (as amended).
