Job Description

Glasgow City Council is seeking to recruit a Senior Health and Safety Advisor with the main focus of the post being within the Catering and FM area. 

Duties will be focused on incident investigations; fire risk assessments; audits/inspections; training; reviewing risk assessments; reviewing management standards; and providing advice and support to all levels of management as required. 

The candidate should be able to demonstrate knowledge of Health and Safety - catering and or facilities management experience would be an advantage. 

The post holder will require a NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent or be working towards this. Direct outputs from this post will include reports and action plans.  The ability to manage your own time and diary and deliver against planned milestones is also essential.
